DataCentric Automation (DCA) provides automated solutions for the protein crystallization. Our Rhombix Series of products automates the entire crystallization process or specific tasks. The Rhombix Screen automates all liquid-handling aspects of the process including creation of reagents and assembly of plates. The Rhombix Vision automates the storage and imaging of crystal plates and incorporates our proprietary multi-mode plate imager. The Rhombix OPUS combines aspects of Screen and Vision products to create the first commercially available system for end-to-end automation of protein crystallization. Each Rhombix product incorporates our Centrix Automation Engine, a proprietary database driven informatics platform. The Centrix Engine permits storage and tracking of experimental protocols, experimental results, and automation control parameters in one convenient database. In addition, the Rhombix Application Suite provides a common experiment design interface for users, independent of hardware configuration.
