About the speaker

Dr. Norbert Gottschlich received his Ph. D. in chemical engineering from the Technical University Hamburg, Germany. His research focused on chromatographic separation techniques for biomolecules.

From 1998 to 2000 he worked with J. Michael Ramsey as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Laser Spectroscopy and Microinstrumentation Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (Oak Ridge, TN, USA), developing microchip-based analytical tools. In 2001 he joined Greiner Bio-One (Frickenhausen, Germany) as a Project Manager R&D and is responsible for microfluidic applications.
